EDGE-ucation 101 - I LOVE NYC!

I'm a New Yorker at heart.
I was born in Manhattan and have a special place in my heart for the Big Apple.
I try and find an excuse to get back there at least once a year just to get my "fix" and
I just returned from NY this past Monday.  I can go on and on about the things I love about New York, however I'll just highlight a few for now...

The Mercer Hotel - 75 loft-style rooms, perfectly nestled in the heart of NY's hip & trendy SoHo district.

Katz's Famous Deli - The best deli in New York since 1888!

The romantic & scenic Boathouse  Restaurant - Central Park
And, of course, this wouldn't be a style blog if I didn't mention something about New York style.  New Yorker's definitely have a different style "edge".  It's not better or worse, it's just different.  Different than what we are used to.  Definitely more trend & label conscious.  More urban.  More formal.  More refined.  There is a greater sense of individuality through style in New York.  People are more daring and take more style "risks" when stepping out, especially as you move farther away from Wall Street.

When you visit Edge Boutique, you'll notice that I really tried to capture a bit of that New York "vibe" in not only the details and aesthetics of the shop but also in the merchandise we carry.  At the same time, we are working hard to promote your unique individuality but in a price sensitive way.  So, rather than spending $200-$300 bucks on designer denim, we carry similar looks and labels in the $80-$150 range that will give you that same look and the same level of quality.

Here are a couple of this week's featured items!
