The "X" Factor

I'm not talking about this guy...

What is the "X" Factor?

Definition: x factor, n., a hard-to-describe influence or quality; 

an important element with unknown consequences.

One of my favorite books is Malcolm Gladwell's, Outliers; The Story of Success

In it, among many of his brilliant quotes, he writes; 

".....it would be interesting to find out what goes on in that moment 

when someone looks at you and draws all sorts of conclusions."

He goes on to say;

"If you work hard enough and assert yourself, 

and use your mind and imagination, 

you can shape the world and your desires."

Okay, so what's my point?

This is going to sound a little Tony Robbins or Joel Osteen 

but I honestly believe that we ALL have a little "X-Factor" in us.  

The problem is that we fail to embrace it b/c we've allowed things like
words spoken over us, what we think others think of us,
passivity, opportunities "lost", etc... 

to "stunt" our potential.  

We all have a contribution to make while we are here on earth.

We all have a legacy to leave behind.

Life is a journey, not a destination.
If we all embrace this,
together we can put a
 nice
 little
 "dent"
 in the world :)
